Admin API Updates
Interactions API key secret refresh
Admin API users can now refresh an Interactions API key secret using the new /refreshSecretendpoint. A refresh invalidates the previous secret and returns a new one. Each key still has only one secret, and the secret can only be viewed once.
Tech-partner external API keys for Interactions API keys
Tech partners can now use the Admin API to attach external API keys to Interactions API keys that were provisioned for their apps.
Example: VAN Keys
If a tech partner has access to a VAN API key that the data owner does not, the data owner can create an Interactions API key with VAN as a destination without supplying a VAN key up front. The Interactions app owner may then use the Admin API to link that Interactions API key to an external key from their workspace so provisioning and secret custody stay aligned with who actually holds the downstream credential.
