DDx: Exchange Integration FAQ
Why should I create a new integration up for transferring data to the Exchange? The Dataset Exchange API integration with the Exchange allows the DDx API to securely handle data transfers to DDx.
What will happen with my data? Your data will be moved via the Dataset Exchange API to the Exchange where it will be initially processed, and then moved into an Exchange database where it will be further processed and normalized.
How long will my data be retained? The data will be fully encrypted at the point of ingestion.
How much time will it take for my data to get to the Exchange? When any new data is uploaded to the DDx API-provisioned bucket, the data is immediately transferred to the Exchange and will be ingested and normalized.
How will I receive data from DDx?? When you would like to receive data from DDx, inform your DDx Client Success Representative and submit your credentials to the DDx API Console to get set up for data delivery to your desired destination. Later in 2026, data delivery within the DDx API architecture will be available for Exchange clients.
How will I know if a data transfer is successful? If the data transfer job was successful, you will be notified and your credits will be updated in your DDx account. Over time, DDx API may offer additional notifications and alerts as well.
Who can I contact if I have questions about using the Dataset Exchange API to transfer data into DDx?
