Workspaces
Workspaces Overview
A Workspace is your home base in the DDx API Console — it's where you create and manage Apps, generate API keys, and control access to data.
Every user has a Personal Workspace, but most of the real work happens in Organizational Workspaces, which are shared by teams and tied to a Data Owner or Tech Partner role.
Types of Workspaces
Personal Workspace: Every account comes with one. It's private to you and can't be shared. Good for exploration, but not intended for production integrations.
Organizational Workspace: Shared across users within an organization. This is where production Apps, data access control, and API keys live. There are two views of an Organizational Workspace, depending on your role: Data Owner or Tech Partner. Users can move between roles as needed by selecting the Role Switcher dropdown in the Console.
Workspaces have unique IDsEvery Workspace has a unique ID that travels with it — when data flows through the DDx APIs, data is tagged with a Workspace ID so it can be associated with the data owner in the downstream destination.
